Adding in foods that will nourish your cells is the key to anti-aging. Everything begins within!
Let's talk about those foods that can really add to your health and beauty, then we will talk about the foods which are toxic for your cells and will age you. If you want to look good for the majority of your life you must take out the toxins and add in the life givers. Toxins are anything processed, in your food in your home, in your life, you just do not need it. So here are my Super Foods that will slow or reverse the aging process. This will lead to feeling energized, sleeping better, having glowing skin, and living your best life. In my blog Cellular Reset you will see the other factors that will assist you in your ageless beauty and perfect cells life.
Prioritizing your health and wellness dictate the quality of your life. So throughout my blogs we will address the pillars of total wellness. You mind, your beliefs, your food, your supplements, and your self care, will all be discussed.


Super Foods


Pomegranates- whole seeds fresh, not juice, a few tablespoons daily. For a food to be effective it has to be in it's original form not an extract of. These powerhouse seeds fight oxidative damage. The cells must be fed and protected; this daily habit will facilliate this process.
You can find these in the produce section already prepared. 

Avocado's- eat daily if possible. Avocado's detoxify your body and add healthy fats. It turns out healthy fats are one of the primary ways to keep your cells functioning optimally. Vit K, Vit E and folate help support eye health and lower your blood sugar
Individual snack portions are sold near fresh produce, so you can always add one to anthing. I love it on beans and rice and with organic blue corn chips. Placing unripened avocado's into a paperbag helps expedite ripening.


Garlic- eat daily! An immunity booster, lowers blood pressure, reduces cholesterol levels, lowers risk of certain cancers. Let's just say a fountain of youth. I saute a little garlic in olive oil lightly to put in almost everything I eat. 


Spinach- why not daily honestly? Vit A, C, K and iron, calcium, zeaxanthin, supports eye health. Helps fight depression and anxiety. Wow! My favorite is collagen production, let's create our own collagen instead of paying for it second hand. 


Red Bell Pepper- keep one in the fridge and just cut off a few pieces when you are cooking to munch on, this is the easiest way to eat it raw and reap the benefits of collagen production.
Antioxidants, Vit C, A, B6 are very important ladies! Anti-inflammatory properties, let's go!


Cauliflower- I like to bake it with organic Turmeric and Olive Oil sprinkled on it. Vit C, K, do you see a theme here? I do also love mashed cauliflower which you can get in the produce section.


Live Organic Greek Yogurt- A probiotic, supports gut health! Gut health is one of the keys to weight management and total health do not ignore the gut! You only need a teaspoon or two in your green smoothie to reap the rewards. See my Cellular health blog for the Green smoothie recipe. 

Organic Butter- this helps regulate your hormones ladies. You need the good fats remember!


The Do Not List


This list is crucial and may well be more important than the above list because of the oxidative stress and cellular damage you are doing to your body! Overall long term health is the key to living well and being beautiful. 
No Processed Foods! Obesity, Cardiovascular Issues, Type 2 diabetes, digestive health Inflammation, Nutrient deficiency, do we need to think about this?
Cut out all Soda, really are we still drinking soda looking for glass skin? The two are incongruent.
Soda = weight gain, Type 2 diabetes, dental issues, bone health, risk of heart disease, metabolic syndrome. OK, are we done? Drink a natural flavored sugar free sparkling water as an alternative.
Fast Food- read above, what's the point in buying skin care and makeup if your going to ruin you're health from within? Carry Cashews in the car or kind bars, eat oatmeal with almond butter, blueberries and pomegranate seeds. This will stop your sugar and bad food cravings! I just make two tablespoons of organic oats and a tablespoon or so of organic nut butter. This is a huge weight loss hack by the way. There are always alternatives. Panera & Chopolte have an app and a drivethru and both chains use hormone free meats. These are great alternatives to fast food and can be ordered in advance.
Sub Sandwiches- for real, ladies? Processed lunch meats: risk of certain cancers, do you need more? Take deli meat out of your vocabulary. There are organic sliced chicken options which could be used with Dave's bread or spelt bread and avocado mashed to replace the mayo and cheese.
I am not against organic cheese. 


Hungryroot is a fantastic busy working lady option! Mostly organic sourced never processed groceries and meals prepped under ten minutes. This is a weekly as needed delivery option that is very well priced. Even my fast food junkie boyfriend eats everything they send and loves it.

A service may help you to start fresh without going crazy trying to find healthy options without breaking the bank. Aldi's is also a fantastic money saving option!!


What I Eat for perfect skin and health:


Breakfast, oatmeal with nut butter , blueberries, pomegranate seeds fresh. filling and weight control.


Snacks: Blue Organic Baked Tortilla chips with mashed avocado. Aldi's organic cheddar puffs, nuts,
gouda snack rounds or other cheese organically sourced. Sliced red bell pepper, Dates, Aldi's dark chocolate
dessert hummus, Aldi's coconut lime cookies,  Almond flour crackers with sliced organic cheese, HU dark chocolate cashew bar.


Lunch or Dinner: garbanzo pasta with pesto, garlic and Organic Olive Oil or other flour alternative pastas. Free range organic roasted chicken, Salmon, hormone free Steak (maybe once a month) red meat should be rare. 
Salmon baked in tin foil with pesto is delicious. Twice a week. Organic sweet potato tots. Mashed sweet potato, mashed or baked cauliflower, spinach saute with garlic. 


I make beans once a week organic black beans and white beans with tumeric and brown rice, I keep these in the fridge so that I always have something made that is healthy. When I have it, I saute fresh garlic and kale quickly with olive oil. Everything is organic! Nothing processed! The golden rules.


I do eat pizza, I make pizza at home as well. There are good cauliflower crusts and organic ingredients options without meat. 
I eat cookies, there are fresh vegan cookies in the bakery section and alternative flour cookies without refined sugar. 


If you change what you eat and eat well with lots of healthy fat's your skin will glow and you will  naturally be a good healthy weight without becoming a gym rat. I just use light arm weights and do Pilates and Yoga at home. Do not stress about weight, strive for health. Do not ignore your mental health either, what I mean is pay attention to your negative thoughts and reactions, happy people are more attracitve and healthier.
Putting junk, fake food in your body and making negative stories about yourself or others is not going to have a good result. This negatively affects your health as much as the food. Ask yourself what the bad food or ugly talk is gaining you, is it worth your looks, realationships, better jobs, your manifestation? Just some food for thought, no pun intended. Let's live our best life! Commit to yourself to add some things and take some things away. Be good to yourself and forgive yourself and move on. 

Get a visual in great detail of the ideal you. What would you look like, sound like, what would your habits be, what would your home look like, your body, what job would you have? Paint a picture really focus on this woman just before bed and fall asleep as this person. How is she dressed? This will embed the better version of you in your subconscious and your mind will work hard to find her and change your reality. Make a list in the morning of things you're willing to change this week and start committing to some new changes each week. Slowly you can become this person. Purge anything in your home not serving you or adding beauty. Add organic cleaning products and shampoos. Take the toxins out of your mind, body and environment. This is the real key to living well and new opportunities and relationships will naturally fill in the space you are making by excavating your life. You can do this! I will be here to encourage , support, and suggest. You can change at any point and add more of the good and the beautiful into your life but you have to be willing to let go of the ugly, the anger, unforgiveness, toxic food and thoughts. Do not waste a single moment beating yourself up for how you eat or how you live. That's literally the past now. Start now and keep moving forward no more negative self talk!
